Submitting entries for the DV 2009 Diversity Visa lottery is over.
The DV Lottery 2009 results winners were selected by the computer random draw and were announced between May 2008 to July 2008 by regular postal mail to them individually. Those who are not selected will not be notified. They can apply for the next draw.
Nearly 82,000 people in 175 nations received the winning notification along with further instruction and were asked to process it as soon as possible.
Interview for the issuing of the PR visa was started in October 2007 and will continue till August 2008. No visa will be issued after 30th September 2008.
Winners who are eligible to receive the Second letter can expect it till August according to their case number.
There is no need to send money by Bank, westernunion or other services to obtain the Permanant residency Visas.
Applicant are required to pay the Non- refundable visas fee and the Diversity processing fee at thier Embassy only at the time of the interview personally and can obtain the official receipt for the payment.
American Govt allows 50,000 persons to immigrate in to America legally every year from countries which send less than 50,000 people in the past 5 years.Those countries sent more than this limit are not allowed to participate in this programe.
The State department will announce which countries can participate and how many numbers will be selected from those countries. The selected winners can bring their spouse and under 21 years old children who are not married, with them to live and work permanently.
The American Govt’s official web site will annouce the DV Lottery 2010 instructions in the online application period, which lasts for 60 days.
